Do we have somewhere steps needed for building an installer?

LGTM, works like a charm, thanks! For the record Tested on Windows 11, RHEL 9, Fedora 40, and Mac 14.5.

Urs, generally thank you for linking issues. It is a huge help for me to get oriented about what is needed to review first.

Thank you for the exploration and PR. It looks like I'm missing something. The application icon isn't present when running from Netbeans (17) or from the dist folder (Ventura 13.2.1)....

@degrown I'll prepare ZIP distribution for testing.

@degrown can you share mentioned installer somewhere? I tried it with the latest version and it's working on my side.
