I think it is the known unsolved problem of texlab on Windows (https://github.com/latex-lsp/texlab/issues/284). I'm sorry but I don't know any solution except turning lsp-mode off, yet.

@OdinZhang Sorry for my late reply. Texlab is updated to v3.0.0, and freezing problem seems to be resolved. How is it work on your environment?

lsp-latex supports all features of texlab, while lsp-tex does not. In contrast, lsp-latex does not support digestif, while lsp-tex does. |client|texlab|digestif| |-|-|-| |lsp-tex|basically supported|supported| |lsp-latex|fully supported|not supported| I don't know...

lsp-latex does NOT need AUCTeX at all. Sorry, I don't have any idea about emacs hanging. I think `%f` error occurs because %f feature is not supported by texlab v1.10....
