Ctrl+windows+C doesn't work here. It's not my keyboard though because NVDA recognises it. It must be Windows or something else intercepting it. Nothing obvious happens when it is pressed.

I can't reproduce the problem here. Object nav works fine in that dialog, even when the numbers are updating. What version of Reaper and NVDA are you using @Lo-lo78?

I think it should be fine as long as it doesn't break OSARA if SWS isn't installed.
