You can toggle YouTube's native _dark theme_ in your user icon menu (top right). I think this should sync with ImprovedTube's dark theme setting by default.

I don't believe YouTube comments have been linked to Google+ for a while now, and you can't even use Google+ anymore, so I don't think it makes sense to call...
