Corosauce won't do 1.16.5 most likely, as he'll probably do 1.19. If you're playing on 1.12.2 I suggest using https://github.com/Mrbt0907/weather2-remastered as it introduces rain wrapped storms and so many improvements....

So update, weather2 is now on 1.18.2. If you have no more questions, it would be helpful to close this issue ^^

You could make your own resource pack if absolutely necessary. Just beware the tornado would also become darker.

2 months late but do you have coroutil installed? Are you doing /weather2 storm killall to reset it in case you've crossed dimensions recently? Are your settings for the weather2...
