This won't be a part of Golden Days Base. If I get around to it then it will be an addon.
The water has been adjusted and is now a lot more accurate. This method still allows for water tinting.
Sorry for the wait! Finally getting the inspiration to work through these issues. I also included the title screen button text from Beta 1.7.3 (Title Screen vs Title menu)
I cannot fix these as they are hardcoded. I believe OptiFine supports this, but I will not be fixing it with that. If Colormatic supports it, I'll look into it.
I believe I fixed this in 1.7.1
