Apparently portrait mode is forced when only showing chat [here](https://github.com/SebastianRask/Pocket-Plays-for-Twitch/blob/master/app/src/main/java/com/sebastianrask/bettersubscription/fragments/StreamFragment.java#L2023). Is there a reason beyond just the general design behind this?

This is to be expected, Velocity doesn't have a concept of a reconnect handler. If you want it to not throw the error then adjust the Snap config.
Well while this might help some plugins ‒ and I would encourage authors to state so if they think that Snap could provide some stuff to make their life easier...

As far as I can tell all plugins that have an issue there natively support Velocity and all of them wouldn't work with Snap anyways without the MySQL driver error....
