i faced that exact problem and solved it by using external IP for addressing minio in `STORE_END_POINT`.

soo... if its not implemented in the past 6 years we can safely say it's not going to happen at all. since the repo is not updating as well.

as i said i need to run proxy on one of my interfaces, i have 3 LAN connected
