Any update on this?

I tried building with httpclient 4.3 but the ssl handshake problem still occurs.

In https://github.com/siacs/Conversations/blob/master/src/main/java/eu/siacs/conversations/http/HttpUploadConnection.java at line 110 it sets the key for encryption, this may be transmitted to the recipient in the OTR message but I am not sure of this.

Only mesh is currently supported.

Using a PIN on a room would prevent people from joining a room, or a new attribute could be created to allow rooms to be marked as private or public....
