What did you have in mind - are you thinking of doing a full implementation in swift? Note that HTTP/2 has it's own repo.

I've just seen a slack thread where it's recommend that you don't use os_unfair_lock from swift because using the `&` operator to pass in the lock is likely to copy...

I assume you'll add some comments later. Worth talking to Cory - I'm sure he has advice on extending types you don't own but I forget exactly what it is...

Alternative would be to wait until https://github.com/apple/swift-package-manager/pull/3562 is done and we no longer support swift versions before that.
