If I remember correctly, there were some issues with running Octave. Either way, Matlab does nothing too clever. It is a simple preprocessing, with the toolbox from the NYU2 authors....
I run into the same issue on Ubuntu 20.04, with cuda 11.8, nvidia driver 525 and RTX4090. Later edit: It works fine on the master branch, the issue was reproducible...
I'll be working on camera visualisation and the associated GUI changes.
