On my Firefox Android, your demo page does not work - the "Allow notifications" bar to turn them on is not displayed.
Not an issue as such but you should be aware that some anti virus programs that actively scan users website behaviour treat (and thus block the page) certain hidden html...
inside your checkPlatform and checkBrowser functions it would be much more performant to return out of the function when a match is found rather than carry on testing.
