Combo wireless keyboard mouse, mouse not working

Trying both a Logitech K400 (Keyboard and Trackpad) and a HP Keyboard and Mouse combo I can only get the Keyboard to work?

Initially, I wired the Level Shifters:

HV3: PS2 Data HV4: PS2 Clock

Thinking this might be wrong I desoldered and replaced it with:

HV3: PS2 pin 2, Mouse Data HV4: PS2 pin 6, Mouse Clock

But I'm still not having luck. Looking at some of the images, HV4 looks like two wires are soldered on to it. Am I missing something here?

These second set of wires I used from the keyboard connector so I can use combo ports mostly found on notebooks. Can you try a wired USB mouse alone and see if that works? The it seems like an USB issue.
