yeah i tried that but with 1.17.1 being java 16 and all probabely gives errors (37 errors to be exact, and i tried setting everything ftom java 8 to java...

might as well port to 1.18.1 at that point edit: doing a 1.17.x version on the way there would be nice but i don't think much pepole play on 1.17...

(i would also like to add that the list of block is outdated, and cheaper blocks can still be chosen as the [Minecraft Wiki](https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Map_item_format#Color_table) suggests)

i think it would be better to input the .nbt and such into the mapartcraft tool to then modify the blocks, kinda like how [Vanillatweaks "updates" their datapacks](https://vanillatweaks.net/picker/resource-packs/)

or if you weren't expecting to have to use that much of a block and might want a cheaper block or maybe a farmable block
