I just cloned https://github.com/jupyterlite/demo as https://github.com/NeilStrickland/jlite (on November 1st) and added the line 'notebook' at the end of `requirements.txt` there and added a number of notebooks in the `contents` directory....

I am still having problems on several different machines. Sometimes it works with the file https://strickland1.org/courses/MAS2008/lectures/l.html (which contains three iframed notebooks) but not with https://strickland1.org/courses/MAS2008/lectures/lecture01.html (which contains 11).

I have now tried this in Microsoft Edge, where I am willing to delete absolutely all settings, site data, cookies and so on. I cleared everything then visited https://strickland1.org/courses/MAS2008/lectures/lecture01.html. I...

I have raised this issue on the Jupyter Lite tracker at https://github.com/jupyterlite/jupyterlite/issues/1243

I now realise that the error goes away if I change the exponent to `Rational(-1,2)`.
