I had this issue as well, so I unchecked it and installed all dependencies manually. I've had no issues since.
Make sure you haven't both installed the custom cards through HACS and selected the "Include custom card resources it's relying on" checkbox during the UI Minimalist setup.

The H5054 & H5040 are not supported by the Govee API, and therefore won't be supported by this integration.
Below is the developer documentation for the Govee API. This should help you diagnose your issue.
