I just noticed this task is basically the same as #13 so we should probably close this one and add your newlib/pdclib comments to that one?

 This shows the timeouts being correctly handled
It may also be clearer for "Open question - number" that the precision is changed to a delta instead.
It would be a substantially bigger change but we could also add a [GraphQL](https://graphql.org/)(-like) API, so that the client can specify exactly what it wants.
Is this really needed and what are the use cases? We could just settle on sending everyone an e-mail if necessary as we have everyone their e-mail address anyway.
