Hi @YoYoFreakCJ, ok, I should be able to add this. I'm using one file per customer too but am always adding the name of the customer to the connection name...
It works only for newly created MRU. Use a tool and you should see the expected content in the new MRU item
Please update again. Something was wrong on the first attempt like for many people

Sorry I just see this thread now... I do agree some tools do not provide enough quality and/or have a lack of documentation. I will try to find a solution...
Unfortunately not... I'm using the user Temp folder, so it's not configurable so far. This is something I could change for a next release
It seems you are using beta version of connection controls. Please revert to stable ones, it should work
There must be some remaining beta dll somewhere... You shouldn't have this message anymore
Even with a fresh install, if your computer already had XrmToolBox installed and you did not change the storage path, it will reuse lot of files from previous installation
