I Just installed Mission Control yesterday and could play a lot with my Wiimote and Nunchuck, but the motion sensors are not being mapped/translated to game inputs, i did try...

Add support for building dolphin core to nintendo switch (HOS) native support (.nro)

Long term issue to solve to add support for building dolphin core to horizon OS version of retroarch. With support for real wiimote maybe?
