Hmmm...see your Problem here...in the Documentation of this plugin is only something to send Commands with Pause, Repeat and Interval...you can of cause try it if you send the TV...

The first Problem is that the Plugin searches for Apple TV‘s for a Period of time...in this Time...an Apple TV can respond so fast that it cant answer the Request...

Ive set the Recording Time to 0 sek. The Bug stays. Maybe we have to upgrade FFmpeg?
