Well, for me it works on all devices I tested (4.0, 4.1, 4.4, 5.0, 6.0, 7.0), so it's kinda weird. Try making clean/build. Should work.
What type of activity do you use? This lib() requires AppCompat as it calls for getSupportFragmentManager() which is available only in AppCompatActivity. Checkout sample project, it explains it fairly well....
