Kettle only responds after turning on then off and on again

I have a smart kettle 2 pro and it works perfectly apart from this one issue. I have to toggle on then off and it will respond as it should...

I cant seem to get working reliably in a vm with a shared 3090 it works fine up until the game starts then i get a black screen last night...

im not sure if this can be done but its sort of a mix between heater-cooler and air-conditioner liker have the fan speed and oscillate options added to aircon it...
