Aha, if I press the "S" key to scale a wall but my cursor is not at a valid "Split" point along the wall, it triggers the list index out...

 I'm struggling to maintain consistent font sizes. I'm not sure what affects font size. In CAD detailing, font sizes are usually not configured on a case by case basis....
