Are you using paru-git?

Makedepends should be installed before the sources get fetched

I'm not a fan of special cases cases and i think the inconvenience is minor.

Ability to downgrade packages

The AURRPC doesn't support this so paru won't either.

Some strings are not printed translated

Looking at the results of merging. I think it adds fuzzy when the translation changes but is still similar. So a translator can see if it still fits/adjust it.
