I would vote to keep it open for now. If nothing else, there were a few small things I wanted to fix in the current sphere fitting code. And I...

Hi, Sorry I missed the last meeting, but this scaling doesn't seem to me like the correct "fix" for this. I'm going to spend more time looking into this this...

Right. I mean "orientation" of forward/inverse solution vectors in high-dimensional sensor space.

> how would you determine the actual peak power I just mean it compensates for the 1/f peak amplitude scaling that our wavelet transform introduces: 2nd row in my figure....

From @dimitriospantazis : I generally have not been using spectral normalization in my work; instead I have been using the common baseline normalization. But here is my take. You are...

Thanks Dimitrios, Point 1 is a good idea, though I don't think we'd want to remove a feature that people might have been using. Because actually, "spectrum normalization" does change...

Thanks François. Sorry I didn't find time to work on this since we discussed it in a Wednesday meeting back in Feb. Sadly, I'm having difficulty finding what we had...

@ftadel indicated on the [forum](https://neuroimage.usc.edu/forums/t/unconstrained-to-flat-map-with-pca-method-details-on-the-process/36054/4) that he won't have time to review this before the fall. Even though it's been like this for some time, I think the broken flattening...

Really trimmed down the changes to only unconstrained source flattening as a first step, for easier review. Only process_source_flat has access to the PCA function for orientations at the moment....

Requested changes were made, so ready for another review once the "bugness" question is decided. I added back flattening PCA per epochs, with sign correction based on PCA across epochs....
