This should be passing, the error seems to not be with the code itself but rather with running bundle install. If it were rerun, it would likely pass.

Is there a way to avoid executing test:prepare?

I think that it could be a simple change, I'll check it out. As of right now, you can create a rake task for 'test:prepare' so that it doesn't break.

This is an issue with the way that rails-perftest implements the 'ruby-prof' gem. There are apparently several issues that exist within the perftest gem that create this issue.
