mono-sgen using 99% CPU in the background

I'm using OS X El Capitan. When I leave Vim with F# files open for too long, I observe a runaway process mono-sgen, very likely to be related with vim-fsharp....

When the terminal resizes, Progressive should clear starting from the reference point whole way to end (bottom-right) of the terminal, so the artifacts of previous terminal size don't show up.
