This is what I get when reproducing it **java.util.concurrent.CompletionException: org.apache.kafka.common.errors.UnknownTopicOrPartitionException: This server does not host this topic-partition.** It does randomly happen. https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KAFKA-6221
