open3d 0.16 is out and it seems like the crashes stopped accuring for me. try and check it out if it solves this issue @SamTov

did the issue got fixed in 0.17?

Can you explain this script, what do you do here? Im just looking for a snippet that makes pointcloud to bag file so I was wondering if you use pcd...
