Update: I was able to have it inflict self-damage just now. I think the confusion hir might be affected by accuracy decreases, causing the self-hit to 'miss'
@Snailman11 I added the sessionData and userData to the original post, just got it again - a wild Zubat used Supersonic to confuse my Lugia. Lugia's moveset is Aura Sphere...
