This also happened to me. Everything after 1.1.7.1 refused to open. I fixed it by changing the exe compatibility mode to Windows 8.

I don't have anything in the temp folder sadly, It's the OG Windows, nothing changed, slimmed, modified, or anything like that. It's a x64 system, yes. Main language is latam...
I did what you said, closed MSI Afterburner, RTSS, and removed the Win 8 compatibility mode, both versions launched normally.

Yeah, it crashed with Afterburner and RTSS together, the exclusion thing worked though, it didn't crashed at all with RTSS only.
Well, if I'm the only one is not worth it lol. It's fixed for me now so that's great. Thanks!
