I created a pull request with audit fix and an update to mocha. This clears the audit issues. The test passes and the example continues to work.

Apparently, the mocha update breaks tests in Node 6 & 7 because of ES6 related changes that aren't supported in 6/7... Moved to [email protected] for audit fix + node 6/7...

@shlomo-artlist I've given up on this. My company forked the code into their private repo and moved on. I suggest you do the same.
