I didn't address it but the patch was originally failing due to `ILUtil` methods throwing when the instructions collection size is less than the passed index.

I cannot tell exactly why it does fix it (~~Mono~~), but `Callvirt` is not appropriate there, since it calls a static method. For reference, it solves that issue we already...
