i think actual issue is that they dont provider item handler capability. In 1.21 one needs to manually register those as they are not gotten through inheritancy. extending wout both...

It would also be nice if there was an event that fires whenever fire consumes any block so that mods could alter how other blocks are consumed
A bit out of scope but could flammability and fire spread be driven by data maps? Could make them more accessible for datpack people but I guess more annoying for...
probably a bug. still you can replace their textures with texture pack. 1.18 is out of support

Still their issue 💀 You can check lithium issue report. I will mark lithium as incompatible of that won't ever be fixed
