Okay, I own one of these (the mini-s I think). I believe they are both UART devices, so it's just a matter of parsing their stream. Shouldn't be too difficult....

I think the best way to solve this is to change the PWM_stop block to have a dropdown where the default is "stop" and contains "stop" and "start" as options....

I was able to incorporate nearly all of @AndyLindsay 's suggestions, so these blocks should now be ready for a comprehensive re-test.
