Three out of 5 of my folders (not albums) display blogs this way. I've tried clearing the index and re-indexing. Possibly that leaves old file_entities items in the database. 
I discovered that I can prevent these from showing in the albums by turning off the "List metafiles" option under search. Not showing them is much cleaner than having them...
