is there a way to update pdfjs plugin from original one?

recent pdfjs (from mozilla) has a lot of fixes, is there a chance of updating it ? or can i download the pdfjs from mozilla and put it in pdfjs plugin ? can you please guide me ? because current pdfjs doesn't support native pdf comments etc..
