Suddenly cant use. Obsidian 1.3.5, markmind now 1.7.2.

last time, I download-ed the pdfjs from official pdfjs's site and can use in the previous version of obsidian and markmind.

i guess obsidian updated itself, then i can use markmind. now i updated the markmind to the lastest 1.7.2 too. still suck.

pdfjs already in the .obsidian folder i didn't move it.

suddenly cant use i mean i can make new mindmaps, then add a node /w [[xxx.pdf]]. click on it previously should open a PDF. now it only opens a black blank new tab (which should be the PDF). thanks

it opens at the xxxx.pdf's xxxxx-annotate page. but black empty tab

I am on obsidian version stated above. the markmind ver is 1.7.2 the plugin i used the one you provied (which is found only differ from the original one by "added index.js" and "modified out.js", i use beyond compare to make mine same as yours.

but still work.

i think i'll have to test with a new vault where it is empty, then report here. so far, not working for me on the original vault i used daily

The same happened here... Obsidian 1.3.5 and I tested the releases 1.6.9, 1.72 and 1.73 (commited 9 hours ago) of PDFjs. Did the Obsidian default PDF viewer change? The animated examples has shown another PDF-viewer looking.

Put pdfjs to .obsidian folder of your vault , update markmind to lastest , then restart obsidian,it will work

I found some mac connot open the pdf viewer , you can try

• move your obsidian vault from cloud to other place
• the reason is the spaces in the pdfjs path are encrypted as %20

Thank you very much! It worked perflectly! Your visual tutorial shows the PDF opened inside a splitted pannel. But I didn't get it. It is a keyboard combination or some link attribute?

I'm running it at Windows 11 and the vault folder synchronized as an OneDrive folder. In fact, I've observed that the PDFjs has numerous small files (more than 600), which cause slower synchronization for installing it. But I don't have this encryption problem.

i am on windows 64bit obsidian 1.3.5

i disabled all other addons, only markmind is on but still no hope.

i'll install a vm and see.
