Problem with bold text

For my usecase of the plugin, i'm putting a lot of text in the mindmaps, so i would like to see the most important keywords at glance, by using bold text. The first problem is that i can't use the convenient Ctrl+B shortcut, i have to manually put two asterisks in front and at the end of the word. But most importantly, the bold text in the mindmap doesn't respect the color of the theme, which in the dark theme makes it very hard to see the bold words, so that it's very annoying to use.
