It also heats up my Macbook M2 to temperatures I've never thought possible on a laptop, and I'm not doing anything graphically intensive here.
Apologies, if it is not meant to be mentioned here, but my solution to this problem - use Safari's "Add to dock..." for YouTube and use Zen for everything else....
