I believe this is an issue fixed by updating from Yomichan to Yomitan.
Can you display your audio sources settings by clicking "Configure audio playback sources..." in Yomitan?
I’ve already tried, it seems this game uses a non-standard encoding for the text. Might need a lot of work to figure out.

This one has a PC version. Does that not work with Textractor?
This issue is still present as of v0.2.0 3646. Can't see anything because of the black screen, but I can hear sound effects when pressing the Circle or Cross buttons...
