Can't import to canvas app / custom page
When I try to import the component into my canvas app, I get the message that it can't be imported. Any help is appreciated. I imported the 1.5 version into a new environment. It is published and added to my solution. Additionally, I turned on the custom components feature in my environment.
Hi @symnoian , Have you tried to build unmanaged solution from source code?
Hello. I have not tried to build the solution yet. I have been trying to avoid that since it seems like the file you provided was supposed to work without the need to do that. Building it myself is the last resort if no other solution is available.

Hi @MaTeMaTuK
I have the same issue. I've built an unmanaged solution from your source code but the issue still appears. Any ideas?
Thanks and best regards Torsten
Hi @tofri , I have had import issue for another component. And that issue was for managed solution only. Anyway I will try find out or Microsoft explanation at least

Hello @MaTeMaTuK
I am having the same issue where I attempt to import the managed solution into my canvas app and I get a failure. Have you been able to provide any insights to why this is failing? Is the best option to pull down source code and build an unmanaged solution from it and attempt to import?

The issue is fixed for me by using old version (probably version 1.3) instead of latest version

Hello @MaTeMaTuK,
I was able to get v1.3 to import into my canvas app without issue. I will try working with this version. Are you planning on troubleshooting what the import issue is with the latest version that you have published? I would love to have the latest version work with all of the enhancements and improvements you have made.
Hi,
I have v1.3 working in canvas apps but am unable to import to a model driven app, is this possible? Also really keen to get v1.5 or v1.4 working in either canvas or model driven but like the comments above it won't import. Is this likely to get fixed. Thanks for the development so far it's really good.
