its present in 0.24 and below.. btw have you noticed this issue?
actually i only see this problem in newpipe, i use Samsung keyboard and Google keyboard (Gbord). so you see I am pretty certain that this is a bug in newpipe.
@opusforlife2 I think this should be added to Major planned/missing features #6448
I also strongly suggest for this to be optional in settings ... to accommodate all different devices and use cases.
