The intention was to use Ren'Py to generate the file "game/saves/navigation.json", which is used to identify the symbols. Ping @rdurfee

What version of the extension did you have before downgrading? Our latest stable version is 2.0.12.

I can't reproduce it, using 2.0.12, VSCodium 1.69.2 (only with Ren'Py extension installed). 

The last time I checked OpenVSX doesn't support publishing pre-release versions.

I've tested it on Windows with VSCode and it works. Is it related to VSCodium on Windows? It is weird.
