Total System Crash on Pop OS 21.04

I have found that when I run Hexchat on Pop OS 21.04, after 10-30 minutes it results in a total system crash resulting in either a reboot or grey screen

When running the specs command, the encoder specifics output always shows "Encode Specifics: 16 bit 41.4 kHz" on 24 bit 48kHz songs.

Error when extracting zip file

When using context menu extract the message Cannot find archive name is displayed. When 7zip is opened, it can be extracted without issue.
