FWIW you can look into the game log to see which mod has an update if you can not find it in the UI, even if this is pretty annoying.

What's the reason this did not get merged originally @juliand665? I'm also curious whether you're still interested in fixing this bug in general @Scotsguy? Otherwise I'll look at it soonish...
Might be interesting to see if it still happens in version 3.1.0. I've refactored some internal things that directly interact with the window in #110 that might or might not...
