I don't think it's necessarily a Qt issue. I'd suggest trying to make a script setup that changes the Qt theme in qt5ct, and then set your system Qt theme...
I'm not sure if it is possible to achieve that kind of blur without using KDE Frameworks. I've tried doing it for my own apps before and not been able...
