This should work now, I tested it with my app...

We have now been able to workaround this problem by using > private void initEcsClient(){ > AWSStaticCredentialsProvider credentialsProvider; > > logger.debug("DBG: roleArn=" + this.roleArn); > > AWSSecurityTokenService stsClient = AWSSecurityTokenServiceClientBuilder.standard()...

The problem is the "a lot of times" - its not reproducable EVERY time but I will try..
