I'm facing the same issue on Arch with pacman, with snap, and with flatpak. It also crashes when opening “Themes”.
Experiencing this now. Interestingly, when I expand the search process, it seems to successfully make a query and browse pages, then `fetch failed`. Anything I can share to help debugging?
By the way, I don't have this issue for a long time already. Autofill works flawlessly.
Reloading vscode helped. Although it still strangely doesn't work in this example:  Still, mostly works. Apologize for creating this rambly issue.

Also, can you perhaps say why does it break alt-tab functionality?

Updating Vue to latest will probably fix this, as it fixed mine.
