Plus, using beta 0.1, going to home menu worked fine for me.

you can edit them directly in the code actually, but you have to compile yourself afterwards.

Honestly you might be better off using [GBX.NET]( https://github.com/BigBang1112/gbx-net) right now. It might not be in python but it's the most complete library so far. There's also [gbx.js](https://github.com/ThaumicTom/gbx.js)

iirc this library only supports trackmania forever replays. TM2 replays sometimes work but i don't really expect TM2020 replays to work.
